Maximilian Hofbauer (born January 2, 1990 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EV Landshut from the Oberliga since April 2015 .

Career

Hofbauer started his career in the junior team of EV Landshut , where he was active for the junior team in the German junior league from the 2005/06 season . In the DNL, ​​the offensive player was one of the attackers with the highest points in his team and already scored 28 points in his first season in 41 league games . During the 2007/08 season he was first appointed to the squad of the professional team in the 2nd Bundesliga, but was not used.

He played his first professional games the following year, when he was on the ice in two games for the Landshut Cannibals. He couldn't score a point and received two penalty minutes. During the 2008/09 season he joined the Eisbären Juniors Berlin from the Oberliga Nord , with whom he finished last in the Oberliga Nord group after the main round.
