In the next season Wruck was the best scorer of his team and reached the playoffs with the Oil Kings. There they were eliminated in the first round. The 2011/12 season closed his team as the team with the best points after the regular season. Wruck was able to confirm his good performance from the previous year and scored 80 points scorer. The team also remained successful in the playoffs and won the championship, the Ed Chynoweth Cup . A year later, the Oil Kings reached the final again, but in which they were defeated by the Portland Winterhawks . Wruck scored a total of 104 points in 90 games in his last junior season.

In October 2013 he signed his first professional contract with the Ontario Reign in the ECHL and made his debut on October 23, 2013. In his second game, he scored a hat trick against the Florida Everblades . Two days later, Wruck was seriously injured and was out for the rest of the season. For the 2014/15 season he moved to Europe and signed with the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League . Wruck was able to convince there and scored 37 points in 51 games. For the 2017/18 season , Wruck moved within the DEL to the Kölner Haien . After a weak season with only two scorer points (no goal) from 40 games (including playoffs), the Haie terminated the contract, which ran until 2019, on May 2, 2018. On the same day, the Straubing Tigers announced the commitment of the German-Canadian for the 2018/19 season . But also in Straubing he played a weak season, in 38 main round games he scored only one goal and reached ten points; in the subsequent pre-playoffs he completed one more game and remained pointless. He and his team were eliminated in two games against the Eisbären Berlin . On June 14, 2019, the Heilbronner Falken from the DEL2 announced the commitment of the left-handed shooter. In his first DEL2 season he was the best scorer in the entire league after the main round with 88 points and reached 4th place with the Falken, the best placement in 7 seasons.
