David Hawthorne (* 14. May 1985 in Corsicana , Texas ) is a former American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He played for the Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints as an inside linebacker .

college

Hawthorne attended Texas Christian University and played between 2004 and 2007 for their team, the Horned Frogs, successful college football , scoring 168 tackles in a total of 42 games .

Seattle Seahawks

In the 2008 NFL Draft , he was initially ignored, but was then signed by the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent , where he played regularly and successfully for four seasons.

New Orleans Saints

In 2012, he signed a five-year contract with the New Orleans Saints and mostly works as a starting linebacker. On February 8, 2016, he was released by the Saints.

Buffalo Bills
