David Kimutai Rotich (born August 19, 1969 in Sotik , Kericho County ) is a Kenyan walker .

Kimutai Rotich took part in the Olympic Games three times . He finished his first Olympic Games in 1996 in 23rd place over 20 km. At the Olympic Games in 2000 he was 39th in the 20 km walk. At the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester Kimutai Rotich won the bronze medal four years later, at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne , he missed a medal narrowly and ended walking fourth. After Kimutai Rotich had not participated in the 2004 Olympic Games, he came in 2008 in Beijing in 19th place. At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin , Rotich came home 32nd after 1:26:35 h.

Kimutai Rotich is married and trained by George Kariuki .
