David Levy (producer)
David Levy (* before 1966) is a film producer .
Career
Levy's film career began in 1966 as an executive producer on the television series The Pruitts of Southampton . He also worked on the series Sarge and the television film The Deadly Hunt . He has been working with film director Robert Altman since the 1990s . He worked on The Player , Short Cuts , The Gingerbread Man , Cookie's Fortune - Aufruhr in Holly Springs , Dr. T and the Women , Gosford Park and The Company - The Ensemble as producer. Levy, Robert Altman and Bob Balaban received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture at the 2002 Academy Awards for their involvement with Gosford Park . The award went to Brian Grazer and Ron Howard for A Beautiful Mind .
