David Maiyo Chirchir (born November 5, 1976 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .
In 2002 he was third in the Florence Marathon and in 2003 fourth in the Prague Marathon . In 2005, a tenth place in the Rome Marathon was followed by victory in the Košice Marathon .
In 2006 he was tenth in the Alexander the Great Marathon and third in Košice. That year he finished second in the Treviso Marathon, which was not suitable for the best list because of its gradient, in 2:10:19 h. In 2008 he finished second with his personal record of 2:11:02 h at the Maratona d'Europa , where he finished fourth the following year.
