David McNeil
David McNeil (born June 22, 1946 in High Falls , Ulster County , New York ) is a French author (novels and books for young people), composer and singer . He is the son of the painter Marc Chagall .
McNeil has lived in France since 1948. His songs have been sung by Yves Montand , Julien Clerc , Jacques Dutronc and Sacha Distel , among others .
