David Michael O'Connell
David Michael O'Connell CM (born April 21, 1955 in Philadelphia ) is Bishop of Trenton .
Life
David Michael O'Connell joined the religious order of the Lazarists and was ordained a priest on May 29, 1982 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 4, 2010 Coadjutor Bishop of Trenton . He was episcopal ordained on July 30th of that year by the Bishop of Trenton, John Mortimer Fourette Smith ; Co- consecrators were John Joseph Myers , Archbishop of Newark , and Donald William Wuerl , Archbishop of Washington .
As a motto he chose Ministrare non ministrari . After John Mortimer Fourette Smith's retirement , he succeeded him on December 1, 2010 as Bishop of Trenton.
