Career

David Oberhauser was pulled up from the second team in 2010 to the professional team of AC Ajaccio , which played in Ligue 1 in 2011 . There he made his professional debut on August 25, 2012 when he came on as a substitute for goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa on the third match day of the first division season 2012/13 at AC Ajaccio's 3-0 defeat by Valenciennes FC in the 28th minute . After this season he left the Corsicans and went abroad to sign with the Romanian second division club UTA Arad . After he couldn't win a regular place there either (only three games), he left the club in October and signed on July 3, 2014 in his homeland in Moselle with FC Metz , which had recently been promoted to Ligue 1. In Metz he only made three appearances in the 2014/15 season as goalkeeper number three behind Johann Carrasso and Anthony Mfa Mezui . After relegation in 2015, he stayed with the club and was promoted to deputy to the new number one Thomas Didillon in the 2015/16 season . In autumn 2015, Oberhauser stood between the posts and managed to get promoted again with his team at the end of the season. In the 2016/17 season , he mostly had to sit on the bench.
