David Resnick (architect)
David Resnick (born August 5, 1924 in Rio de Janeiro ; † November 4, 2012 ) was an Israeli architect and urban planner of Brazilian origin.
Career
Resnick was born in Rio de Janeiro, where he was still working as an architecture student for Oscar Niemeyer . In 1949 he emigrated to Israel with his wife, where he rose to become one of the most famous architects of the modern era .
In 1964 he was awarded the Rechter Prize and in 1995 the Israel Prize in Architecture. In 2006 he was made an honorary member of the American Institute of Architects .
