David Sigachev

Dawid Sigatschow ( Russian Давид Сигачёв ; born January 6, 1989 in Moscow ) is a Russian racing driver .

Sigatschow began his motorsport career in karting in 2002 , in which he was active until 2006. Among other things, he won the DMV Kart Championship in 2006 . In 2007 he switched to formula racing . For SL Formula Racing he competed in the Northern European Formula Renault . With two tenth places as the best results, he finished the season in 21st place overall. He also took part in a Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup event.

After a one-year break, Sigatschow returned to motorsport in 2009 and switched to GT racing. He took part in the German Porsche Carrera Cup and finished the season on the 13th championship place. He also made two guest starts in the Porsche Supercup . 2010 Sigatschow stayed in the German Porsche Carrera Cup and finished 14th in the championship. He also took part in six ADAC GT Masters races. In 2011 he first switched to the ADAC GT Masters. He took part in eight races. He was 27th in the drivers' championship. In addition, Sigatschow made his debut in 2011 for Deteam KK Motorsport in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC). He attended an event and a 13th place was his best result.
