David Wellington

David Wellington (born April 23, 1971 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania ) is an American author and blogger .

Life

Wellington graduated from Syracuse University . He published his debut novels on his internet blog before American publishers noticed him.

He lives in New York City , where he works as an archivist at the United Nations .

About his work

David Wellington writes action-packed horror , fantasy , science fiction and thriller literature . His fantasy novels appear under the pseudonym David Chandler and science fiction works as D. Nolan Clark .

Wellington's horror novels are set in a kind of parallel world of the present and enrich the typical genres ( zombies , vampires , werewolves ) with some new ideas.

Works

"Monster" trilogy

In his zombie novels, Wellington describes the effects of a zombie apocalypse on what remains of humanity.

"Laura Caxton" series

Wellington's vampire novels deal with the fight between the policewoman Laura Caxton and the centuries-old vampire Justinia Malvern.

"Cheyenne Clark" series

Wellington's werewolf novels are set in arctic Canada, where a group of people hunt the last living werewolves. Among the werewolves is the former huntress, Cheyenne Clark, who was injured and transformed by a werewolf while trying to avenge her father, who was killed by a werewolf.

"Ancient Blades" trilogy

Wellington has written three fantasy novels under the pseudonym David Chandler.

"Jim Chapel" series

With Minotaur , Wellington started a new series in the thriller genre around a US special forces veteran.

"The Silence" trilogy

Wellington started under the pseudonym D. Nolan Clark with the novel "The betrayed planet" (original: "Forsaken Skies") the "The Silence" - Space Opera .

The zombie novel Plague Zone is set in Washington state .
