Davis Oladeji Nejo (born June 21, 1953 in Lagos ) is an Austrian actor of Nigerian origin.

Life

Davis O. Nejo studied arts education at Lagos State Government College and studied marketing at the University of Lagos . In 1975 he moved to Vienna . He studied from 1977 to 1981 at the Vienna Film Academy and was a visiting student at the Reinhardt Seminar . Nejo has been an actor in film, television and theater since the 1980s. He played at the Burgtheater , the Schauspielhaus , the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Volkstheater and the Bregenz Festival , among others . Nejo campaigns for African culture in Austria in a variety of ways, for example he founded Austro-African journalists, artists and journalists associations as well as several music groups. He also works as a curator and is chairman of Cross Cultural Communication - Association for the Promotion of International Cultural Contacts .
