Davita Prendergast (born December 16, 1984 in Westmoreland Parish ) is a Jamaican sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .
She celebrated the greatest success of her career so far at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. There she won the silver medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay together with Shericka Williams , Shereefa Lloyd and Novlene Williams-Mills . The team improved the Jamaican national record to 3: 19.73 minutes.
At the 2010 World Indoor Championships in Doha, she was part of the Jamaican relay, which came third. However, the bronze medal was subsequently withdrawn because the starter Bobby-Gaye Wilkins was convicted of doping .
At the 2011 World Championships in Daegu , she won the silver medal in the 4 x 400 meter relay together with Rosemarie Whyte , Novlene Williams-Mills and Shericka Williams in a time of 3: 18.71 minutes.
