Dawa ( Chinese 大洼 区 , Pinyin Dàwā Qū ) is a municipality in the northeast Chinese province of Liaoning . It is subordinate to the district-free city of Panjin and administers an area of 1816 km² and as of 2015 has a total population of around 400,000. Its main town is the large community of Dawa (大洼 镇).
The population census for 2000 showed a total population of 377,650 people in 113,140 households in what was then Dawa County (大洼县), of which 193,590 were men and 184,060 women.
history
Dawa was opened in 1988 as part of the reform and opening policy .
Administrative structure
Dawa was established as a county in 1975 . As of the end of 2018, the municipality consists of nine street districts and nine large municipalities . These are:
- Street districts Rongbin (荣 滨 街道), Erjiegou (二 界 沟 街道), Rongxing (荣兴 街道), Dawa (大洼 街道), Tianjia (田家 街道), Yushu (榆树 街道), Wangjia (王家 街道), Yulou (于 楼 街道)
- Large communities Tianzhuangtai (田庄台镇), Dongfeng (东风镇) Xinkai (新开镇) Qingshui (清水镇), Xinxing (新兴镇), Xi'an (西安镇) Xinli (新立镇) Tangjia (唐家 镇), Ping'an (平安 镇), Zhaoquanhe (赵 圈 河镇)
