Days of Loss is an Austrian metal band from Vienna, currently consisting of five members .

history

Days of Loss was founded in Vienna in the mid-1990s . Their first two albums were self-produced. Her third album was recorded in the Hinterhof Studios in Vienna and the work was released on the Vienna independent label Terrasound Records . In 2010 the band was nominated for the Amadeus Award .

Days of Loss played in the opening act of Napalm Death , In Flames , Brujeria , Debauchery and Grave, among others . In February 2010 the band played two shows as support for Heaven Shall Burn . Many festival stages were also made unsafe, such as the Main Stage at Metal Fest Austria 2010, Kaltenbach Open Air and, most recently, the Danube Island Festival 2013 and 2015 in Vienna. In February 2014, the current album Our Frail Existence was released.

Ken Straetman left the band in summer 2015 and was replaced by Denis Dincer.

Wolf Labmayer left the band in December 2016 and was replaced on bass by Patrick Fian in November 2017.
