history

The three band members already know each other from their time together in the Erding district music school, where they had already played together. Max Josef Kronseder confronted the two brothers Tobias Reinhard Loechle and Johannes Benedikt Loechle with the idea for the song Wenn i amoi im Himme bin 2013. Due to the positive response to their subsequent first joint appearance, the three musicians decided to found the band DeSchoWieda. Their lyrics are written in Bavarian dialect , musically the group is part of the so-called “new Bavarian wave” or new folk music .

With a self-made video of the performance of their cover version Nimma of the chartbreaker Timber by Pitbull in Bavarian dialect in the car, they received over five million clicks on Facebook in 2014 . They then released additional cover songs as "Antenne Bayern Hitkapelle". In the same year, Heid moi ned an moing denga , Bavarian for “Don't think about tomorrow today”, was her debut album on Ghostsmiley Productions. There followed appearances and a. on Bavarian television and on Sat.1 Bavaria.

In April 2015, the three musicians took on Felix Ranft as a drummer, whom the Loechle brothers had known for many years from previous band formations. DeSchoWieda released their first single Oh Mare in 2015 . Their first smaller concert tour began with a concert in the sold-out Erdinger Stadthalle in April 2015. This was followed in 2015 by appearances at festivals such as B. the Brass Wiesn, the Rock On Top and at the championship party of FC Bayern Munich in the Postpalast .

In 2016 DeSchoWieda released their second album Exactly Mei Weda and then toured Bavaria and Austria with the Easy Rider Tour .

In 2017, the band played their song Heid moi ned an moing denga in a bar in the movie Austreten , a Bavarian comedy by Schmidbauerfilm with Markus Böker . The title melody Richtig oder foisch is also by DeSchoWieda and was created when Tobias Loechle and Maximilian Kronseder spent a day with friends from Chiemsee on an electric boat on the Chiemsee.
