action
At the height of the Vietnam War , a group of young American soldiers are dropped off by helicopter in the jungle. Reviews
- The daily newspaper : Genre clichés are not only dragged through the cocoa, but drowned in it (...) A firework of blood and nonsense!
- Badmovies.de : The film plays with the traditional genre clichés and takes them one step further. Seldom has the indigestible flag-waving hurray hero pathos spread so much good mood.
background
The shooting took place near Bremen , which is why the makers (Hendrik Thiele & Markus Hagen) advertised Deadly Nam as the first North German Vietnam film . The project quickly gained national recognition through the Internet and reports in various newspapers.
The films parodied in Deadly Nam include works such as Apocalypse Now and Platoon , but also the films by Michael Dudikoff and Chuck Norris .
