Deadsy is an American synth rock - band . The band was founded in 1995 by Phillips Exeter Blue I (actually Elijah Blue Allman , son of Cher and Gregg Allman ) as a kind of art project.
Band history
Deadsy already played live on the Family Values Tour 2001 and 2006, for example. The Family Values Tour 2006 was followed by a multi-week tour through America as a support act for the Deftones . They were signed by Korn label Elementree after they had been rejected by Sire Records and later by Warner Music with a completed album . The band is considered one of the most influential bands in Los Angeles music circles. Orgy front man Jay Gordon was a former member of Deadsy. The album Phantasmagore was released worldwide. Carrying Over was released as the first single in the USA: once in the album version and once as an acoustic version, which Deadsy played during the Family Values Tour in 2006.
Influences
The band covers a wide spectrum of sounds, ranging from all kinds of rock to 80s wave influences and classical music à la Bach. Typical are the lower tuned guitars in combination with extensive use of synthesizers.
