Deaf School (Engl., "Deaf school") is a company incorporated in 1973 and in Liverpool is settled British band whose style between pub rock , punk and " art rock " à la Roxy Music is located. After the third LP, the group initially disbanded. Singer Bette Bright emerged from Deaf School as a solo artist and Clive Langer as a producer. Steve Lindsey founded the band Planets . Enrico Cadillac teamed up with Ian Broudie (formerly Big in Japan ) under his real name Steve Allen to create the Original Mirrors .

In the late 1980s , almost all Deaf School members, including Langer and the three singers, celebrated a brief reunion for “2nd Coming,” a live recording of the best songs from their 1970s albums.

In late May 2006, the band got together again for a number of concerts, including on May 27th for the reopening of The Picket club in Liverpool.

In 2017 the album Let's Do This Again Next Week was released.
