Dealu Geoagiului ( Hungarian Havasgyógy or Felhavasgyógy ) is a Romanian village in the Alba district in Transylvania . It is part of the municipality of Întregalde .

Dealu Geoagiului is located in western Transylvania on a ridge of the Trascău Mountains . The village is located on the village road ( drum comunal ) DC 76 approx. Seven kilometers north of the community center; the district capital Alba Iulia ( Karlsburg ) is about 40 kilometers (about 24 km as the crow flies) to the southeast.
history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1413. Since then, it has been shaped by pasture farming.
population
The 82 inhabitants of the place (status 2002) call themselves all Romanians. The number of inhabitants has decreased sharply since the highest recorded number in 1956 (then 362).
traffic
Dealu Geoagiului can be reached via an unpaved road from the town hall Întregalde. Public transport doesn't touch the place.
Attractions
The wooden church Sf. Arhangheli , built in 1742 and renovated in the 19th century, is a listed building. Dealu Geoagiului itself is worth seeing due to its original structure (partly thatched wooden houses).
The Râmeț and Întregalde gorges are in the vicinity .
