Dean Edwards (born July 30, 1970 in Bronx , New York City ) is an American actor , stand-up comedian , voice actor and musician .

Life

Born in the Bronx, Dean Edwards grew up in different parts of New York City. For six years he served in the US Army, where he discovered his comedic talent and entertained his comrades through comedy interludes.

After his first television appearances and speaking roles, such as in the MTV show Celebrity Deathmatch , he was best known as a member of the Saturday Night Live team from 2001 to 2003. There he played Don Cheadle , Michael Jackson and Denzel Washington, among others . First appearances as a stand-up comedian and smaller roles in various film and television productions followed.

As a voice imitator, he appeared on the CNN show " DL Hughley Breaks the News" as Barack Obama .
