Debbie Wells

Debbie Wells (actually Deborah Wells; born May 29, 1961 ) is a former Australian sprinter .

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and 200 m, respectively, and was fifth in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

In 1977 she was fifth in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the Oceanic team at the World Cup in Athletics in Düsseldorf . At the Pacific Conference Games she won silver over 100 m and 200 m .

In 1979 she was sixth at the World Cup in Athletics in Montreal with the oceanic 4-by-100-meter relay, and in 1980 she was eliminated at the Olympic Games in Moscow over 100 m in the quarter-finals.

She was Australian champion three times (1978, 1981, 1984) over 100 m and twice over 200 m (1981, 1984).
