Career

Declan McManus played early in his career in the youth team of Aberdeen FC . In April 2012, the attacker made his professional debut against Dunfermline Athletic when he came on for Scott Vernon . In the 2011/12 season McManus completed another league game against FC Kilmarnock under Craig Brown . For the 2013/14 season McManus was awarded to the second division club Alloa Athletic . In the 2014/15 season he played for Greenock Morton with whom he won the third division championship. With 20 goals he was also the top scorer . In May 2015, McManus signed a three-year contract with English third division club Fleetwood Town .

National team

Declan McManus played for the Scottish junior national teams of the U-18 , U-19 and U-21 from 2012 to 2015 .
