The Scottish League One was held for the second time in 2014/15 as the third highest division of men's football in Scotland . The league was one of the four leagues in the Scottish Football League after the Premiership and Championship . Which was followed League One from League Two . The season was managed by the Scottish Football Association and began on August 9, 2014. The season ended with the 36th matchday in May 2015.
In the 2014/15 season, ten clubs competed against each other on a total of 36 match days. Each team played twice at home and twice against every other team. As a climber from last year's League Two , FC Peterhead came into League One , as well as Stirling Albion who won the relegation against FC East Fife . The relegated from the previous Championship Greenock Morton completed the field of participants.

Relegation
Participants in the relegation games are the ninth place from this year's League One, FC Stenhousemuir , as well as three teams from League Two , FC Queen's Park , FC Arbroath and FC East Fife . The winners of the first round play in the last round for a place for the following 2015/16 Scottish League One season .
