The Scottish League Two was played for the second time in 2014/15 as the fourth highest football division in Scotland . The league was one of the four leagues in the Scottish Football League after the Premiership , Championship and League One . Which was followed League Two from the local leagues, the Highland and Lowland Football League . The season was managed by the Scottish Football Association and began on August 9, 2014. The season ended with matchday 36 on May 2, 2015.
In the 2014/15 season, ten clubs competed against each other in a total of 36 match days. Each team played twice at home and twice against every other team. As relegated from last year's League One , FC East Fife and FC Arbroath came into League Two . Since the Scottish professional league system ends in League Two , there was no promoted team before the start of the season. This season there were relegation games for the first time between the last placed in League Two and the two winners from the Highland and Lowland Football League. The Albion Rovers secured direct ascent. The FC Queen's Park , FC Arbroath and FC East Fife reached the promotion relegation, the FC Montrose had to go into the relegation relegation. The top scorer was Peter Weatherson of Annan Athletic with 22 goals .

Relegation
Participants in the relegation games were the tenth place in this year's League Two , FC Montrose and the two champions from the Highland and Lowland Football League, the Brora Rangers and Edinburgh City . The winner of the first round played in the second round against the League Two club for a place for the following Scottish League Two season 2015/16 .
