history

The club first caught attention in the Scottish Cup in 1937/38 when Hibernian Edinburgh was defeated in the first round on Easter Road . In 2013, the club moved from the East of Scotland League to the newly founded Lowland Football League, which in addition to the Highland Football League serves as the substructure of the Scottish Football League and thus follows the Scottish League Two . In 2015/16 the championship was won again. In the relegation, the club prevailed 3: 0 and 1: 1 against Cove Rangers and then 1: 1 and 1: 0 against the tenth place in the Scottish League Two FC East Stirlingshire , which meant promotion.
Stages
The club played from 1931 at Powderhall Stadium , which was used for greyhound races and soccer games. In 1996 the move to the Meadowbank Stadium was completed after the club Meadowbank Thistle was relocated to the newly founded city of Livingston in 1995 , and played as Livingston FC .
