The Scottish League One was played for the sixth time in 2018/19 as the third highest football division of men in Scotland . The league was officially played as Ladbrokes Scottish League One . The league was one of the four leagues in the Scottish Football League after the Premiership and Championship . Which was followed League One from League Two . The season was managed and played by the Scottish Football Association and began on August 4, 2018. The season ended with the 36th matchday on May 4, 2019.

In the 2018/19 season, ten clubs competed against each other in a total of 36 match days. Each team played twice at home and twice against every other team. As promoted from last year's League Two , FC Montrose and FC Stenhousemuir took part in League One . As relegated from the previous championship came FC Dumbarton and Brechin City .

The FC Arbroath won the championship and the associated rise in the second division. Forfar Athletic , the Raith Rovers and FC Montrose reached the promotion relegation . The FC Stenhousemuir had in the relegation relegation and dismounted. Brechin City as bottom of the table directly. The top scorer was Kevin Nisbet of Raith Rovers with 29 goals .

    Relegation

    Participants in the relegation games were the ninth place from this year's League One, FC Stenhousemuir , as well as three teams from League Two , FC Clyde , Edinburgh City and Annan Athletic . The winners of the first round played in the last round for a place for the following 2019/20 Scottish League One season .
