Kevin Nisbet (born March 8, 1997 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who has been under contract with Hibernian Edinburgh since 2020 .

Career

Kevin Nisbet was born in Glasgow in 1997 . He started his career at Hibernian Edinburgh . For the "Hibs" he played up to the U15 age group before moving back to Partick Thistle in his hometown . For the youth of the club acting under the name Thistle Weir Academy he played until 2014. In February 2015 Nisbet was awarded to the Scottish fourth division club FC East Stirlingshire . He scored six times in 11 games. After the loan ended, Nisbet returned to Thistle and made his first-team debut in the Scottish Premiership against Ross County in September 2015 . After eight first division games in the 2015/16 season in which he remained scoring, he was awarded to second division Ayr United for half a year in the following season from October 2016 . He scored two goals in twenty games. From January 2018 a loan to the second division to FC Dumbarton followed . After Partick Thistle was relegated from the first division in the 2017/18 season , numerous players left the club, including Nisbet.

The center forward then signed a contract with the Raith Rovers from the third division. With 29 goals, he was the top scorer in the 2018/19 season . After a year he left the Rovers and moved to local rivals from the second division Dunfermline Athletic . For the "Pars" he scored 18 times in 25 games, making him second best on the 2020 goalscorer list behind Lawrence Shankland (24 goals) .

In July 2020 he moved to the first division club Hibernian Edinburgh for the equivalent of € 280,000 and signed until 2024.
