Josh Thomas Doig (born May 18, 2002 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Hibernian Edinburgh .



Josh Doig was born in the Scottish capital Edinburgh . He began his career in the youth of Heart of Midlothian . In July 2019, he moved to arch-rival Hibernian Edinburgh within the youth team . In February 2020 he received his first contract as a professional player with the "Hibs" until 2023. Shortly afterwards he was awarded to the Scottish fourth division club FC Queen's Park . For the oldest football club from Scotland, he played seven games in the 2019/20 season, which was canceled prematurely . After his return from Glasgow he was used as a regular player at the "Hibs" by coach Jack Ross on the first match days of the 2020/21 first division season.
