Ben Stirling (born August 16, 1998 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with Hibernian Edinburgh .

Career

Ben Stirling was born in the Scottish capital Edinburgh in 1998 . Between 2015 and 2016 he played in the U17 and U20 teams of Hibernian Edinburgh . As of July 2016, he was awarded for one year to the fourth-rate Berwick Rangers . For this he completed eleven league games in the 2016/17 season . From August 2017, a loan to Cowdenbeath FC, also playing in the fourth division, followed . For this he played seven games and scored a goal in the Scottish Football League for the first time when he scored in the 1-0 win against Edinburgh City .

From August 2019, Stirling was awarded to the second division club FC Arbroath for six months . By January 2020, he had six games in the Scottish Championship for the club . This was followed by another six-month loan within the second division to Alloa Athletic . Until the season ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Stirling had fought for a regular place there.
