Deesa is a city in the north of the Indian state of Rajasthan .

Deesa is located in the Banaskantha district in Taluk Deesa , 140 km north-northwest of the city of Ahmedabad . Deesa is located south of the Aravalli Mountains on the left bank of the Banas . The national highway NH 14 ( Radhanpur - Palanpur ) runs through the city. At the 2011 census, Deesa had 111,160 inhabitants. The city of the status of a municipality is divided into 12 wards .
