Dejan Jekovec (born August 22, 1974 in Tržič ) is a former Slovenian ski jumper .

Jekovec was included in the national team of the Slovenes in 1991 and jumped in the ski jumping World Cup for the first time on March 29, 1992 . The first World Cup competitions, however, remained unsuccessful and pointless, so that he also jumped in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup , where in his first season in 1991/92 he reached 43rd place, the highest place in the overall ranking. In the World Cup, he achieved his best individual placement with 16th place in ski flying on the Kulm on January 31, 1993. At the Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer in 1994 he was part of the Slovenian squad and reached 41st place on the normal hill, tied with Russian Stanislaw Pochilko . After the new World Cup points system was introduced for the 1994/95 season , he was able to win a World Cup point for the first time on January 8, 1995 with 30th place in Willingen . On February 4, he jumped in Swedish Falun the first time into the top ten, scoring 5th place the single best result of his career. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Thunder Bay , he jumped 39th on the normal hill and 43rd on the large hill. At the end of the 1994/95 World Cup season, he finished 41st in the overall World Cup ranking and 36th in the ski flying ranking. After he was unable to achieve any further successes in the 1995/96 World Cup season , he started in January 1996 for another year in the Continental Cup without success before ending his active ski jumping career in 1997.
