Delinquent Habits is a Los Angeles hip-hop group founded in 1991 by Kemo the Blaxican, Ives Irie and DJ OG Style , who are best known for their Latin hip-hop style.

history

Their first album, Delinquent Habits (s / t) , was produced by Sen Dog in 1996 , which he and New York rapper Hurricane G also co-designed. The album was sold over a million times all over the world thanks to the successful single Tres Delinquentes . Their second album Here Come The Horns, which was not as successful as its predecessor , was also produced and supported by Sen Dog in 1998, but this time Mellow Man Ace joined them. They released their third album Merry Go Round in 2001 on their self-founded label Station 13 Records , this time accompanied by the singer Michelle. With the fourth studio album Freedom Band in 2003, her focus was more on hardcore rap .

After this album one of the founders, Kemo , left the band. About five years later, DJ OG Style also left the band. In 2013, Kemo The Blaxican and Ives Irie decided to reunite.

Delinquent Habits also became known for her contribution to the game " Total Overdose ". Her song "Return of the Tres" from the album "Merry Go Round" was used as the theme song in the main menu. It was also in 2001 and 2005 in the advertising series Joga Bonito from Nike used.
