Delta Crateris (δ Crt, δ Crateris) is a star of the constellation Becher . Delta Crateris is a giant star of orange color, its radius is (22.44 ± 0.28) solar radii . Its spectral class is K0 and its apparent magnitude is 3.56 magnitudes; this makes it the apparently brightest star in the constellation.
Delta Crateris is 196 light years from Earth; despite its size, its mass is only 1.0–1.4 times that of the sun. Its luminosity is about 171 times that of the sun, and its effective surface temperature is (4408 ± 57) K.
