The Delyan Point (English; Bulgarian нос Делян nos Deljan ) is a headland on the northwest coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 4 km west-southwest of Cape Smith , 10.66 km northeast of Markeli Point , 1.4 km northwest of Matochina Peak and forms the northeast side of the entrance to Vedena Cove .
Bulgarian Scientists mapped 2009. The Bulgarian Antarctic Place-names Commission named it in 2006 by Peter II. (Born Peter Deljan, † 1041), self-proclaimed Bulgarian tsar from 1040 to 1041.
