Dener Jaanimaa (born August 9, 1989 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian handball player .

Jaanimaa started playing handball at Siili PK and later joined SK Reval-Sport / Kristiine. The left-hander later played for the Estonian first division club Chocolate Boys from Tallinn. With the Chocolate Boys he took part in the EHF Cup in the 2007/08 season and in the European Cup Winners ' Cup in the 2008/09 season . In September 2009, the back player moved to the Swedish first division club LIF Lindesberg . From 2011 Jaanimaa ran for the German third division EHV Aue , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd handball Bundesliga one season later . In 2013 he signed a contract with the Bundesliga promoted ThSV Eisenach . In summer 2015 he moved to HSV Hamburg . After the insolvency of HSV Hamburg, Jaanimaa signed a contract with THW Kiel in January 2016 until the end of the season, which was extended by one year to 2017 in May 2016. In September 2016 he switched to MT Melsungen . In January 2018 he switched to TuS N-Lübbecke . In the summer of 2019 he joined the Ukrainian first division club HK Motor Zaporizhia . In February 2020 he moved to the Russian club GK Spartak Moscow .

Jaanimaa is a member of the Estonian national team .
