Denis Petouchinski

Denis Petouchinski ( Russian Денис Леонидович Петушинский , Denis Leonidowitsch Petuschinski ; born June 28, 1967 in Irkutsk , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a former New Zealand pole vaulter of Russian origin.

Starting for Russia, he finished sixth at the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart. In 1994 he was fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and fifth at the European Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

As a representative of New Zealand, he came in second place at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, but was subsequently disqualified for doping with stanozolol and suspended for four years.
