Deniz Ayçiçek (born June 5, 1990 in Neustadt am Rübenberge ) is a German football player . Since 2015 he has been under contract with 1. FC Wunstorf in the Lower Saxony Oberliga .
Career
Deniz Ayçiçek, son of a German and a Turk , began playing football at RSV Rehburg . Then he moved to the youth department of Hannover 96 . In the A-Jugend-Bundesliga 2007/08 he scored 17 goals in 23 games for Hanover's U-19s.
In 2009 Ayçiçek was pulled up to the second team. He made his debut on September 16, 2009 when he came on as a substitute for Jan Rosenthal on the first day of the Regionalliga Nord in the game against the second team of FC St. Pauli at the beginning of the second half . By the end of the season he had 25 missions, of which he made ten games over the entire season. In the following season, too, he only had a regular place at times. On February 4, 2011, he scored his first goal for the second team in the Regionalliga Nord with a 1-0 win against FC Oberneuland .
On June 8, 2011 Ayçiçek signed his first professional contract with Hannover 96. The contract was valid from July 1, 2011 and a term until 2013. However, Ayçiçek was not used in any league game for Hannover 96 during these years. He then moved to MSV Duisburg in the summer of 2013 , who had to be relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga after the DFL's license revocation . Ayçiçek made his professional debut on July 20, 2013 when he came on as a substitute for the injured Tanju Öztürk in the season opener of the 3rd division against 1. FC Heidenheim after nine minutes . Then he was initially called up regularly, whereas in the 2014/15 season he no longer played a role within the professional team. Accordingly, he was not directly involved in the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2015.
In the summer of 2015 he left MSV and moved to the first division club 1. FC Wunstorf . There he played for four years until the club was relegated to the Lower Saxony state league after the 2018/19 season .
successes
- Runner-up in the 3rd league in 2015 and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga (with MSV Duisburg)
Others
Deniz Ayçiçek's brother Levent (* 1994) is also a soccer player. After he was active in the youth of Hannover 96, he currently plays for SpVgg Greuther Fürth and is also a German junior national player.
He became known to a wider public through the game FIFA 13 in the video game series developed by EA Sports. Due to a so-called glitch, the character, which corresponds to Deniz Aycicek, developed disproportionately well in the career mode of the football simulation. His rating in the game was over 90, which otherwise only world stars like Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo achieve. Thus Aycicek was mentioned as an insider tip for FIFA players and in the relevant forums around the world.
