Career
In the club
Together with his brother Deniz, Levent had learned to play football at RSV Rehburg before they both moved to the youth department of Hannover 96 . While Deniz played for Lower Saxony until 2013, Levent moved to Werder Bremen in 2008 . Here the technically well-trained, 1.69 m short playmaker ran through the youth teams. In the 2010/11 season , when he played in the Werderaner U17 team, he scored twelve goals in 25 games. On September 24, 2011, he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in the Werder U19 team's home game against the 1. FC Union Berlin U19s , which put him out of action for seven months. In February 2013 he got back into team training.
For the 2012/13 season , the offensive player signed a professional contract with Werder Bremen. On September 14, 2013 (5th matchday of the 2013/14 season ) Ayçiçek was in the Werder Bremen Bundesliga squad for the first time in the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt . Four more appointments to the professional squad followed without him being used. At the same time, the midfielder played in Werder's Hanseatic U23 team. On February 8, 2014 (20th match day), he played his first appearance for the professional team of Werder Bremen, when he was brought into play in the 79th minute for Aaron Hunt in the 5-1 home defeat against Borussia Dortmund and ten minutes later scored the honorary goal for his team. He was in the first team's starting line-up for the first time on October 28, 2014 at the DFB Cup match against Chemnitzer FC . In March 2015 he agreed with Werder on a contract extension until June 30, 2018. In the 2nd team he contributed to promotion in the 2014/15 season .
For the second half of the 2015/16 season , Ayçiçek was awarded to the second division club TSV 1860 Munich . After the end of the season, the loan was extended to the 2016/17 season . In a year and a half Ayçiçek came to 37 second division appearances, in which he scored six goals and two appearances in the relegation, in the 1860 relegation against SSV Jahn Regensburg from the 2nd Bundesliga.
Ayçiçek returned to Bremen in the summer of 2017 and was integrated into the squad of the second team. After scoring two goals in six appearances, a brace in a 3-0 win against SpVgg Unterhaching on matchday one, he switched to the 2nd Bundesliga for SpVgg Greuther Fürth on the last day of the transfer period .
In the second division season 2018/19 Ayçiçek was neither used in the league nor in the DFB Cup , and he no longer completed the winter training camp with the team. In January 2019 he went to Turkey to join the second division team Adana Demirspor .
