Milan Mitrović (Cyrillic Милан Митровић ; born July 2, 1988 in Prokuplje ) is a Serbian football player .

Career

Mitrović began professional football at FK Zemun and played here for the next four years for this club. He was loaned to FK Milutinac Zemun for the second half of the 2006/07 season. In 2010 he then moved to league competitor FK Rad .

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig to Mersin İdman Yurdu . At this club Mitrović quickly managed to assert himself as a regular player. After his club missed relegation at the end of the season and had to reduce its number of foreigners to three players due to the regulation in the TFF 1. Lig , Mersin İY decided for Mitrović as one of three possible foreign players. Mitrović also kept his regular place in the 1st Lig. With his team, he finished the season on playoff winners and so achieved direct promotion.

After spending the 2017/18 season in Serbia with FK Partizan Belgrade , Mitrović returned to Turkey in the summer of 2018 and joined the second division side Adana Demirspor .
