Preservation value plan
The monument conservation value plan serves in Baden-Württemberg to ensure the holistic monument protection of entire facilities in accordance with Section 19 of the Monument Protection Act.

In a monument preservation value plan, not only the individual cultural monuments , but also buildings, streets, squares and green spaces that characterize the respective overall facility are taken into account. The value plans should create transparency and planning security with regard to the protection of cultural property.
The creation of the value plans is carried out by the monument protection department of the responsible regional council as a higher monument authority. In them, the objects worthy of protection in listed areas of the entire complex are examined for their monument properties and their value in terms of monument preservation. The objects to which a listed conservation value is assigned on the basis of the investigation are described in a listed conservation value plan.
