Dennis Collins

Dennis Collins (born July 18, 1951 ) is a musicologist , harpsichordist and organist . He also works as a translator of musicological and art history works. Among other things, he has translated some of Nikolaus Harnoncourt's writings into French.

His main research is the musical life in Italy in the 17th century; In particular, he is dedicated to the composers Ignazio Donati , Alessandro Grandi , Claudio Monteverdi , Giovanni Rovetta , Giovanni Antonio Rigatti , Barbara Strozzi and Isabella Leonarda .
