Dennis Sand

Dennis Sand (born 1985 in Bonn ) is a German author and editor of the WELT group . He previously wrote for Die Zeit , the Stern , the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Rolling Stone Magazine . It deals with topics ranging from zeitgeist and pop culture.

Career

He studied theater, media and literature as well as journalism in Bonn, Bayreuth and Hamburg .

His book Yellow Bar Mitzvah , which he wrote together with rapper Sun Diego , was in the top 20 of the Spiegel bestseller list for three weeks in March 2018, and nine weeks in the top 50 non-fiction books according to the book report. MontanaBlack: From junkie to YouTuber landed at number 1 on the Spiegel bestseller list immediately after its appearance. According to Media-Control, the book was one of the best-selling non-fiction books in 2019, and the accompanying audio book was the most streamed audio book in 2019 on Spotify.

Sand lives in Berlin and Hamburg.
