IC 2626 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 502 million light years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3534 and NGC 3563 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on May 28, 1903 .
