IC 2627 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Becher in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 85 million light years from the Milky Way and about 70,000 light years in diameter.
The supernovae SN 1994R (type II) and SN 1998A (type IIP) were observed here.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on April 10, 1898 .
