Dennis Tinat

Dennis Tinat (born March 5, 1984 in Offenbach am Main ) is a German radio presenter. Since 2017 he has been broadcasting on the SWR3 of Südwestrundfunk's pop wave .

Life

Tinat grew up in Heusenstamm in the Offenbach district . He made his Abitur at the industrial and technical schools in Offenbach. He has five sisters and one brother. He has lived in Baden-Baden since 2017 .

As early as 1998, he presented for several years on the local school radio. After graduating from high school in 2003, he started working as a freelancer for planet radio , the youth broadcaster of Radio / Tele FFH . Initially as a news editor, shortly afterwards as the moderator of the evening program, alternating weekly with Evren Gezer .

In 2005 he switched to Radio Regenbogen in Mannheim for an internship . There he moderated together with Silja Sodtke in the morning before he went on the air with his own daily afternoon show from 1pm to 4pm after completing his traineeship.

In 2008 he took over the moderation in front of the camera for the online offer for the television program ZDF-Fernsehgarten .

From 2009 to 2010 Tinat was the presenter of the morning show, the newcomer show and the chart show at bigFM .

In 2013 he came back to Radio Regenbogen . Here he moderated the personality show “TINAT MACHT MITTAG” from Monday to Friday (12pm - 3pm) until 2017.

In May 2017 Dennis Tinat moved to SWR3 . There he moderates various programs (including the ARD Popnacht ) and also works as an editor and reporter.

Awards

In 2008, Dennis Tinat received the media award from the State Office for Communication Baden-Württemberg in the “Volunteers” category.

Trivia

An incident on April 9, 2019 attracted media attention. Here Tinat moderated the program "SWR3 Popshop". Shortly before the news at 10 p.m., a loud moan could be heard on the program. In response to questions from irritated listeners on social networks, Tinat said on Twitter that he wanted to fill a little break before the news with birdsong. Unfortunately, the sound that he had played live on the radio was called "Beach Birds", whereby the bracketed "n" was overlooked.
