action

Lilli is returning home from New Zealand for her eighteenth birthday. Anne has to prove to the insurance company that her father Arthur was not drunk when he burned down her barn and died, which is not true. So she tries to persuade Martin, the doctor treating the accident, to make a false statement to the insurance company. Lisbeth finds it difficult to look after the farm after the fire, as she too has suffered health problems.

Henriette Geis suffers repeated strokes, but she is pregnant, which she is very happy about, as she was diagnosed a few years ago that she would not be able to have children. Therefore, she is very much looking forward to the child. But she is in a vicious circle: either she takes the drugs that treat the disease but would kill the baby immediately, or she doesn't take them, chooses the child and runs the risk of dying. She opts for the latter, so she refuses the medication. Both her husband Peter and Bergdoktor Martin Gruber advise her to take the medication, but she does not want to lose her child under any circumstances.

She ends up in a coma, where she will give birth to her child in a few months. She had decided that only then would she want to be saved with medication.
