The Scent of Mathilde is a French erotic / pornographic film from 1994 directed by Marc Dorcel based on a script by the film writer Jean Rollin .
action
You see a Rolls-Royce driving into the country with a young orphan named Eva, accompanied by an uncle and aunt . They go to the man whom she is supposed to marry but does not yet know. This man, Sir Rémy, is a widower who lives in a castle surrounded by guests and employees; in memory of his former wife Mathilde, whose perfect doppelganger Eva is. He thinks he can still smell Mathilde's perfume in his castle. Mathilde tortured Remy in the past by abandoning herself to all men who wished it. In order to take revenge for the memory of his deceased wife, he has young Eva publicly humiliated in a ceremony. The innocent Eva turns out to be a reincarnation of the deceased Mathilde.
