The murdered one intervenes is a five-part crime series produced in black and white by the German television station, which was broadcast in 1961. The police are investigating in the West German theater environment.
action
In 1925 the Düsseldorf police were already busy with a chain of serious crimes when an actor was actually shot in a duel scene at the premiere of a crime play at the Theater an der Kö . Kriminalrat Delp suspects two colleagues of the victim and the employees of the Waldhaus nerve sanatorium outside the city. The role of the head of the institution, Professor Larache, is very shady. Further deaths lead the police on new tracks.
criticism
This apolitical crime film was very popular with TV viewers in the GDR, but was not only positively received by the official side. The DEFA director Günter Reisch wrote to the incumbent studio director: “There are five dead - in addition, the Marxist aesthetic and the basic principles of our cultural policy are being buried. If we had waged the fight for our viewers with such means, we might be sitting in full cinemas today - but next to empty heads. "
